What is your interest in forests and trees?

My work involves trees and plants - pruning, planting and design - occassional tree care slide shows too.

Much of my recreation is spent hiking, camping and exploring. Forests are my favorite outdoor areas - especially coastal forests.

One small hobby is making hiking sticks from tree branches found while pruning. Tried Japanese maple once - too heavy.
