You know, I should add WHY I love your photos. Well, I do love ancient trees, all of them, but your collection gives me a bit of that southern forest I so rarely get now. I love the boreal spruce and fir, in a restrained way, like one loves a new friend--but the south, where I was born, and even the near south, where magnolia trees can still be found in forests, where I spent my formative years--this is where I feel the deep love of one's own place, one's home. And these tree photos bring back that feeling.
